I can’t do it any more!

How to get through.
“If things aren’t going well, hear this and be happy…God met me more than half way, He freed me from my anxious fears. LOOK AT HIM: give Him your warmest smile. Never hide your feelings from Him. When I was desperate, I called out, and God got me out of a tight spot. God’s angel sets up a circle of protection around us while we pray.” (A Psalm of David) Psalms 34:2-7(The Message). “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, WHO FOR THE JOY THAT WAS SET BEFORE HIM, endured the cross, despising the shame, and has set down at the right hand of the Throne of God. (Jesus looked at us as His Joy so that He could endure). For consider Him who endured such hostility, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.” Hebrews 12:2-3(NKJV). He looked at us so that we can look at Him. Hallelujah! Have a blessed day.

Who’s Mind

Becoming Like Christ

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 2:5

Philippians 2:5-8

Before the advent of law schools and medical schools, aspiring attorneys and physicians learned their craft by apprenticing. They would attach themselves to a practicing professional and work by his side until they became like him and could go out on their own. The idea was, “Just watch what I do and do the same thing yourself.”

Paul had a similar thought in mind when he wrote to the Philippians, “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:5). He wanted the Philippians to be like Christ in a particular area of life: humility. When Christ entered the world, He humbled Himself by giving up any aspiration except that which was the Father’s purpose for His life. He set aside His rights and prerogatives as the Son of God and humbled Himself, taking on the lifestyle and behavior of a servant. In that way, Christ fulfilled God’s purpose for His life. His purpose was to know and carry out God’s purpose for His life.

If we are to fulfill God’s purpose for our life, we will become like Jesus. We will humble ourselves before God and say, “Not my will, but Yours, be done” (Luke 22:42). When our purpose is to fulfill God’s purpose, His will will be done.
David Jeremiah

The surest mark of true conversion is humility.

365 daily “Fear Not’s!”

365 “Fear Not’s”
“Fear Not!” is mentioned in the Bible 365 times. One for every day of the year. Satan attacks with fear. ” But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.” Romans 5:8. “If God be for us, who can be against us? Since God did not spare even His own Son but gave Him up for us all, won’t God, who gave us Christ, also give us everything else?” Rom. 8:31-32(NLT). ” You then, be strong IN THE GRACE that is in Christ Jesus.” 2Timothy 2:1. “God is able to make ALL GRACE abound to you, so that in ALL things, at ALL times, having ALL that you need, you WILL abound in every good work…For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have DIVINE POWER to demolish strongholds. We can take captive EVERY THOUGHT to make it obedient to Christ.” 2Corinthians 9:8&10:3-5. “If your sinful nature controls your mind, there is death. But if the Holy Spirit controls your mind, there is life and peace… The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead lives in you.” Rom. 8:6,11. Use the divine power that is in you. FEAR NOT!!! I’m always praying for you.

The Racket of Life.

The Racket of Life

Son of man, look with your eyes and hear with your ears, and fix your mind on everything I show you.
Ezekiel 40:4

Novak Djokovic is the Number One tennis player in the world. After beating Andy Murray at the Shanghai Masters, he told reporters, “A calm mind always wins. Confidence plays a key role for any person on this planet.”

For Christians, a calm mind comes from having our thoughts fixed on Jesus and our minds stayed on Him (Hebrews 3:1; Isaiah 26:3). Jesus told us to love Him with all our mind (Matthew 22:37). The Bible warns against an “anxious mind” (Luke 12:29) and instructs us to set our minds on “things above” (Colossians 3:2). We’re to be renewed in the spirit of our minds. To be spiritually minded is “life and peace” (Ephesians 4:23; Romans 8:6). As we meditate on God’s Word, the peace of God guards our “hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).

Amid the racket of life, a calm mind always wins. Learn to deliberately fix your mind on Jesus and His Word today. Focus on Christ and feed on His Word.
David Jeremiah

It is a grand thing when the mind becomes calm, when the soul grows strong, when courage increases, when confidence comes, when deep peace and quiet restfulness flow into the soul.
Charles H. Spurgeon

2 Corinthians 10:3-5
New King James Version (NKJV)
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,

Unseen Drifting

Listen or Drift.
“So we must listen very carefully to the Truth we have heard, or we may drift away.” Hebrews 2:1. We slowly leave God, a little bit at a time. “But Christ, the faithful Son, was in charge of the entire household. And we are God’s household, if we keep up our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ. That is why the Holy Spirit says, ‘Today you must listen to His voice. Don’t harden your hearts’…” Heb.3:6-8. “For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ. But never forget the warning, ‘Today you must listen to His voice. Don’t harden your hearts’…” Heb. 3:14-15. For only we who believe can enter His place of rest…’Today you must listen to His voice. Don’t harden you hearts’…There is a special rest still waiting for the people of God.” Heb.4:3-11.(NLT) Don’t Drift, and you will remain strong and confident. Don’t Drift, and you will share with Christ. Don’t Drift, and you will find rest. Listen to the voice of God. Today. I’m praying for you.

Daddy’s favorite scripture.

Psalm 23

A David Psalm

1-3 God, my shepherd! I don’t need a thing.
You have bedded me down in lush meadows,
you find me quiet pools to drink from.
True to your word,
you let me catch my breath
and send me in the right direction.

4 Even when the way goes through
Death Valley,
I’m not afraid
when you walk at my side.
Your trusty shepherd’s crook
makes me feel secure.

5 You serve me a six-course dinner
right in front of my enemies.
You revive my drooping head;
my cup brims with blessing.

6 Your beauty and love chase after me
every day of my life.
I’m back home in the house of God
for the rest of my life.”

My Dad is in the arms of Jesus. He left on Thursday. It was my privilege to watch my parents go through death valley and depend completely on this promise. This is from a translation called “The Message” Dad quoted this from the King James version. As Dad started slipping from us, my Mom knew that when she couldn’t talk to Dad that Jesus was. My Dad is proof that God always, always, always answers prayer. Hallelujah, What A Savior!!!! I’m praying for you. Thank you for praying for me and my family.

Is your life awash in fear.

I talk to God always. It’s as if He’s my friend, Dad and my God. Mostly we talk of simple things that should not cause worry. But this week I have been “awash in fear”. They r trying to take my granddaughters away. The God showed me Gideon. My heart was filled with the fact that he had been given the Holy Spirit. Only our savior can push out all the fear and fill u with Jesus

Heart’s Hear! Psalms 27:8a “My heart has heard…” God speaks to our hearts. What does God say? Ps. 27:8a “Come and talk with Me”. God asks us to come and talk. No condemnation. No requirement. Just talk! What does YOUR heart say? Ps. 27:8b “And my heart responds ‘Lord, I’m coming!!” Ps. 26:3 “For I am constantly aware of your unfailing love” Ps. 31:7 “I am overcome with joy because of your unfailing love.” Ps. 33:22 “Let your unfailing love surround us Lord for our hope is in you alone.”. The voice of the Lord, Ps. 29, “echoes above the sea, is full of power, splits the cedars, strikes with lightening bolts, shakes the desert and strips the forest bear. ” But God speaks to our hearts and our hearts hear Him. LORD, I’M COMING!!!
