Where is Wisdom?
Need answers? Have problems? Need love?
Mark 4:34 “In fact, in His ( Jesus ) public teaching He taught only with parables, but afterward WHEN HE WAS ALONE with his disciples, he explained the meaning to them. Matthew 6, Jesus teaches us to be ALONE WITH GOD. Vs. 4 “Give your gifts in secret…” Vs. 6 ” But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you and pray to your Father secretly. Then your Father, who knows all secrets, will reward you.” Vs. 16-18 -fasting is in secret. Vs. 18 “Then no one will suspect you are fasting, except your Father, who knows what you do in secret. And your Father, who knows all secrets, will reward you.” Vs. 19-34 -all your secret worries are known by God. Vs. 31-33 “So don’t worry about having enough food or drink or clothing… Your Heavenly Father already knows all your needs…”
Every answer is in the quiet arms of our Father. I’m praying for you
For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.
1 Timothy 2:5
“Mom! He pinched me!” As children we often ran to our parents when a disagreement broke out between us. Sometimes our parents would tell us to sort it out ourselves, other times they would step in as a mediator, helping us mend our relationship with one another.
When sin entered the world and the relationship between God and man was broken, man had no one to mediate and mend his relationship with God. Only a being who was both deity and human could bridge the gap between man and God. We were stuck, unable to renew our relationship with God.
Aware of our inability to rectify our relationship to Himself, God chose and appointed a Mediator. He sent His son, Jesus, to earth, clothed in the flesh of humanity to become our Savior and Mediator and pay the penalty for our sin. When we believe in Him, our relationship with God is healed and our future destination is secured. Through Christ we can have an intimate relationship with God on earth and throughout eternity. -David Jeremiah
Jesus [Christ] stands between us and God, and for that very reason he stands between us and all other men and things. He is the Mediator … Since the whole world was created through him and unto him … he is the sole Mediator in the world.
…the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
If you’re worried about anything at all today, let me introduce you to the subject of the immutability of God. What do we mean when we say something is “immutable”? It means it’s not capable of mutating. In other words, it is not possible for it to change. If something is immutable, it is unchanging and unchangeable. What could that be? Nothing that is part of this world. Everything in the universe is subject to change. Certainly you and I are changing. Our children are changing. Our society is changing. And even the most durable elements of our natural world and in our universe are changing.
But Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever; the Alpha and Omega. The Lord says, “I am who I am” (Exodus 3:19). Malachi 3:6 says, “I am the LORD, I do not change.” In Christ we have a rock of stability. We have a Friend whose word will never go out of style. We have a Savior who is as dependable now as He was two thousand years ago.
In times of instability, focus on God’s immutability.
Thou changest not, Thy compassions they fail not; as Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.

The “look” of God’s people. God said to Daniel-“O,Daniel, greatly loved of God, listen carefully to what I have to say to you. STAND UP…While He was talking to me, I looked down at the ground, unable to say a word. I said, How can someone like me, your servant, talk to you, my Lord? My strength is gone… Then I felt my strength returning. ‘Don’t be afraid’ He said ‘for you are deeply loved by God. Be at peace; take heart and be strong!” Daniel 10:7-19. Mary, mother of Jesus, “How I rejoice in God my Savior! For He took notice of His lowly servant girl.”Luke 1:48. Jesus said “I assure you, those who listen to my message and believe in God who sent me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life.” John 5:24 (NLT) We are strengthen, deeply loved and totally forgiven by God. That’s what we look like! I’m praying for you.
Come, Dine with Me!
Throughout Scripture God uses bread as a symbol of His intimate presences with us. In the tabernacle, Exodus 25:30, God told Moses “You must always keep the special ‘Bread of The Presence’ on the table before Me”. Luke 22:19″Then Jesus took the bread; and when He thanked God for it He broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples saying’This is My Body which is broken for you…” The two followers on the road to Emmaus did not know Him until “He took a small loaf of bread, asked God’s blessing on it, broke it, then gave it to them. Suddenly, their eyes were opened and they recognized Him!” Luke 24:30-31. John 6:33 “The true Bread of God is the One who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world. Vs. 47 “I assure you, anyone who believes in Me already has eternal life. Yes, I am the Bread of Life!” God is so intimate with us that He calls us to “Come and Dine”. Then He shows us who He is. He feeds us and sustains us with Himself. He fills us with all He is. Jesus, the life-filling, life-sustaining, ever present Savior. Hallelujah!!! I’m praying for you.
Who is God?
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my Savior; my God is my rock in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the strength of my Salvation and my stronghold, my high tower, my Savior…In my distress I cried out to The Lord; yes, I called to God for help. He heard me. My cry for help reached His ears…He reached down from Heaven and rescued me…He led me to a place of safety; HE RESCUED ME BECAUSE HE DELIGHTS IN ME…O Lord, You are my light; yes Lord, You light up my darkness. In your strength I can crush an Army. As for God, His way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to Him for protection…For who is God except THE LORD? Who but our God is a solid rock?” 2 Samuel 22:2-51. Who is God? He is mine!
Have a good Sunday. Worship our Savior.
God, Is It Nothing to You that I Am Going Down?
They thought God didn’t care.
Mark 4:35-41 “Late that day Jesus said to them ‘Let’s go across to the other side of the sea.’ They took Him into the boat…A huge storm came up. Waves poured into the boat, threatening to sink it. And Jesus was in the stern, head on a pillow, SLEEPING! They roused Him saying, ‘Teacher, IS IT NOTHNG TO YOU THAT WE ARE GOING DOWN?’ Jesus told the wind to pipe down, and said to the sea, ‘Quiet! Settle Down! Now the WIND RAN OUT OF BREATH and the sea became smooth as glass. Then Jesus asked, Why are you afraid? Don’t you have any faith?” Our problems are big. We feel very small. We ask,”Is it nothing to God that I am consumed with trouble?” But Jesus answers us-“Why are you afraid?” When Jesus steps in, the wind of our problems will run out of breath! Have faith in The Savior that loves you unconditionally. Faith to conquer breaks down when we don’t know the depths of His Love. The wind runs out of breath and our sea is smooth when we KNOW He loves us. I’m praying that you know His love today.
