Thankful = Happy!
“Happy are those who have The God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in The Lord their God. The Lord lifts the burdens of those bent beneath their loads.” Psalms 146:5-10(NLT). “He heals the brokenhearted, binding up their wounds. He counts the stars and calls them all by name. How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension. The Lord supports the humble. The Lord’s delight is in those who honor Him, those who put their hope in His unfailing love.” Ps. 147. “Happy indeed are those whose God is The Lord.” Be Happy. Rest in Him. I’m praying for you.

Thankful = Happy!
“O my people, listen as I speak…I am God, your God! I have no complaint about your sacrifices…But I want more. I don’t need the bulls you sacrifice… What I want instead is your TRUE THANKS to God. I want you to fulfill your vows to the Most High. Trust me in your times of trouble and I will rescue you and you will give me glory. Giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me.” Psalms 50:8-25. Like King David, God wants us to say-“I know The Lord is always with me. No wonder my heart is filled with joy and my mouth shouts His praises. My body rests in hope.” Acts 2:25-26. Thanksgiving is the sacrifice that honors our Savior. Have a great day. I’m praying for you.
The Production of God.
“Be careful to put into action God’s saving work in your lives, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire to obey Him and the power to do what pleases Him. Hold tightly to the Word of Life. For God’s way of making us right with Himself depends on faith. As a result, I can really know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised Him from the dead.” Philippians 2:13, 3:9-10. “We are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so that we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.” Ephesians 2:10. “We put no confidence in human effort. Instead, we boast about what Christ Jesus has done for us.” Phil. 3:3(NLT). God continually produces His work in us. Don’t trust in yourself. Depend on Him. I’m praying for you
God, Is It Nothing to You that I Am Going Down?
They thought God didn’t care.
Mark 4:35-41 “Late that day Jesus said to them ‘Let’s go across to the other side of the sea.’ They took Him into the boat…A huge storm came up. Waves poured into the boat, threatening to sink it. And Jesus was in the stern, head on a pillow, SLEEPING! They roused Him saying, ‘Teacher, IS IT NOTHNG TO YOU THAT WE ARE GOING DOWN?’ Jesus told the wind to pipe down, and said to the sea, ‘Quiet! Settle Down! Now the WIND RAN OUT OF BREATH and the sea became smooth as glass. Then Jesus asked, Why are you afraid? Don’t you have any faith?” Our problems are big. We feel very small. We ask,”Is it nothing to God that I am consumed with trouble?” But Jesus answers us-“Why are you afraid?” When Jesus steps in, the wind of our problems will run out of breath! Have faith in The Savior that loves you unconditionally. Faith to conquer breaks down when we don’t know the depths of His Love. The wind runs out of breath and our sea is smooth when we KNOW He loves us. I’m praying that you know His love today.
How to get through.
“If things aren’t going well, hear this and be happy…God met me more than half way, He freed me from my anxious fears. LOOK AT HIM: give Him your warmest smile. Never hide your feelings from Him. When I was desperate, I called out, and God got me out of a tight spot. God’s angel sets up a circle of protection around us while we pray.” (A Psalm of David) Psalms 34:2-7(The Message). “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, WHO FOR THE JOY THAT WAS SET BEFORE HIM, endured the cross, despising the shame, and has set down at the right hand of the Throne of God. (Jesus looked at us as His Joy so that He could endure). For consider Him who endured such hostility, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls.” Hebrews 12:2-3(NKJV). He looked at us so that we can look at Him. Hallelujah! Have a blessed day.
The Racket of Life
Son of man, look with your eyes and hear with your ears, and fix your mind on everything I show you.
Novak Djokovic is the Number One tennis player in the world. After beating Andy Murray at the Shanghai Masters, he told reporters, “A calm mind always wins. Confidence plays a key role for any person on this planet.”
For Christians, a calm mind comes from having our thoughts fixed on Jesus and our minds stayed on Him (Hebrews 3:1; Isaiah 26:3). Jesus told us to love Him with all our mind (Matthew 22:37). The Bible warns against an “anxious mind” (Luke 12:29) and instructs us to set our minds on “things above” (Colossians 3:2). We’re to be renewed in the spirit of our minds. To be spiritually minded is “life and peace” (Ephesians 4:23; Romans 8:6). As we meditate on God’s Word, the peace of God guards our “hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).
Amid the racket of life, a calm mind always wins. Learn to deliberately fix your mind on Jesus and His Word today. Focus on Christ and feed on His Word.
It is a grand thing when the mind becomes calm, when the soul grows strong, when courage increases, when confidence comes, when deep peace and quiet restfulness flow into the soul.
Charles H. Spurgeon
2 Corinthians 10:3-5
New King James Version (NKJV)
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
Listen or Drift.
“So we must listen very carefully to the Truth we have heard, or we may drift away.” Hebrews 2:1. We slowly leave God, a little bit at a time. “But Christ, the faithful Son, was in charge of the entire household. And we are God’s household, if we keep up our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ. That is why the Holy Spirit says, ‘Today you must listen to His voice. Don’t harden your hearts’…” Heb.3:6-8. “For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ. But never forget the warning, ‘Today you must listen to His voice. Don’t harden your hearts’…” Heb. 3:14-15. For only we who believe can enter His place of rest…’Today you must listen to His voice. Don’t harden you hearts’…There is a special rest still waiting for the people of God.” Heb.4:3-11.(NLT) Don’t Drift, and you will remain strong and confident. Don’t Drift, and you will share with Christ. Don’t Drift, and you will find rest. Listen to the voice of God. Today. I’m praying for you.
