The Christmas Light

The Light Reveals.
At His Birth, the angels praised God.
At His Birth, the shepherds told about God.
At His Birth, Mary pondered the things told to her by God.
At His Birth, Joseph remembered the dream from God.
At His Birth, the wise men followed the star from God.
BUT, At His Birth, Jesus REVEALED God.
At His Birth, John foretold “The One who is the true Light, who gives light to everyone was going to come into the world.” John 1:9
At His Birth, Simeon stated “I have seen The Savior You have given to all people. He is a light to REVEAL God to the nations.” Like 2:30
Before His Death, Jesus prayed, “And I have REVEALED YOU to them and will keep on REVEALING YOU to them. I will do this so that your love for me may be in them and I in them.” John 17:26.
At His birth, We See GOD.
I’m praying for you.

The Trouble with Sight

-“I feel like more and more the people I meet don’t have faith. Everyone is thinking that the world is going to end. Only one man know when-it’s Jesus. He loves us. 2 Corinthians 5:7 ‘For we walk by faith not by sight.’-Caleb Snider. ” For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us an immeasurably great glory that will last forever…For the troubles we SEE will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever.” 2 Corinthians 4:17-18. “So we have believed in Christ Jesus that we might be accepted by God because of our faith in Christ.” Galatians 2:16(NLT). “What is faith…It is the evidence of things we can not yet see!” Hebrews 11:1 “Do not throw away this confident trust in The Lord, no matter what happens. Remember the great reward it brings you.” Hebrews 10:35. When you can’t SEE, look to ‘The Light’! I’m praying for you.

Unseen Drifting

Listen or Drift.
“So we must listen very carefully to the Truth we have heard, or we may drift away.” Hebrews 2:1. We slowly leave God, a little bit at a time. “But Christ, the faithful Son, was in charge of the entire household. And we are God’s household, if we keep up our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ. That is why the Holy Spirit says, ‘Today you must listen to His voice. Don’t harden your hearts’…” Heb.3:6-8. “For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ. But never forget the warning, ‘Today you must listen to His voice. Don’t harden your hearts’…” Heb. 3:14-15. For only we who believe can enter His place of rest…’Today you must listen to His voice. Don’t harden you hearts’…There is a special rest still waiting for the people of God.” Heb.4:3-11.(NLT) Don’t Drift, and you will remain strong and confident. Don’t Drift, and you will share with Christ. Don’t Drift, and you will find rest. Listen to the voice of God. Today. I’m praying for you.

Is Happy possible?

Happy? Are you kidding? Psalms 84:12″O Lord Almighty, HAPPY are those who trust in you.” Ps.84:5-7″HAPPY are those who are strong in The Lord, who set their MINDS on a pilgrimage…When they walk through the Valley if Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs, where pools of blessings collect after the rains! They will continue to grow strong, and each of them will appear before God.” Ps.94:17-19 “Unless The Lord had helped me, I would soon have died. I cried out ‘I’m slipping’ and your unfailing love, O Lord, supported me. When doubts filled my MIND, your comfort gave me renewed hope and CHEER.” 2 Thessalonians 2:13-16 “We are thankful that God CHOSE YOU…to experience salvation, a salvation that came through the Spirit who MAKES YOU HOLY and by your belief in the truth, He called you to salvation…Now you can share in the glory of our Lord Jesus. Stand firm and keep a strong grip. May our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, who loved us…comfort your hearts and give you strength.” “Your unfailing love is better for me than life itself!” Ps.63:3. Now that’s happiness. I’m so praying for you.

Where is God when I need Him

What’s going on here? Is God out to lunch? Psalms 73:11. This is the questions Asaph had. Vs.1 “No doubt about it! God is good-but I nearly missed it I was looking the other way. Vs. 11-14 ” Nobody’s tending the store. The wicked get by with everything… I’ve been stupid to play by the rules.” Vs. 20 “Then in the blink of an eye, disaster!! A blind curve in the darkness, and-NIGHTMARE!” Vs. 21-28 ” When I was beleaguered and bitter, I was totally ignorant and dumb in your presence. But I’M STILL IN YOUR PRESENCE. You have taken my hand. You wisely and tenderly lead me and then you bless me. When my skin sags and my bones get brittle, GOD IS ROCK-FIRM and FAITHFUL! God is the strength of my heart.” Life sometimes seems unfair and is hard. Remember. Remember that God is FAITHFUL. You are in HIS presence even when you can’t see him. Just like Asaph. His arms are wrapped around you. Praise God that he loves us unconditionally!!!! I’m praying for you.

Hang on!

It’s Hard. When you can’t go on-“Don’t ever forget those early days when you first learned about Christ. Remember how you remained faithful even though it meant terrible suffering.” Hebrews 10:32. God keeps His promises. He made a promise to Israel-“Sharon will become a pasture for flocks, and the Valley of Achor a resting place for herds, for my people who seek me.” Isaiah 65:10. Promise fulfilled- In Acts 9, Peter, in Jesus Name, healed a paralytic. Vs. 35″All those who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to The Lord.” Hebrews 10:35-36 “Do not throw away this confident trust in The Lord, no matter what happens. Remember the great reward it brings you! Patient endurance is what you need now so you will continue to do God’s will. Then you WILL receive all that He has promised.”(NLT) “We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus whom our faith depends from start to finish.” Hebrews 12:2 Jesus promised we will “go through” trials. We will not “stay” in them. I’m praying God will comfort you.

Nothing. Not even secrets

No matter what=God’s Unfailing Love! Nothing can rip us from His Unfailing Love! Psalms 94:14-18 “The Lord will not reject His people; He will not abandon His own special possession. Unless the Lord had helped me I would soon have died. I cried out “I’m slipping” and your UNFAILING LOVE, O Lord supported me.” Ps.90:8-14 ” You spread out our sins before you-our secret sins… O Lord come back to us…Satisfy us in the morning with your UNFAILING LOVE” Ps 86:5 “O Lord, you are so good so ready to forgive, so full of UNFAILING LOVE for all who ask your aid.” Ps.146-147 “The Lord Lifts the burden of those bent beneath their loads… He heals the brokenhearted, binding up their wounds…His understand is beyond comprehension…The Lord’s delight is in those who honor Him, those who put their hope in HIS UNFAILING LOVE.” Be God’s delight- trust His Unfailing Love. I’m praying for you!
